News Mamma Mia! Sponsors Clothing Drive for Dress for Success Broadway's long-running hit Mamma Mia! will sponsor a clothing drive to benefit Dress for Success on Sept. 26.

Dress for Success is an international organization specializing in assisting disadvantaged women with professional attire and support in career development. The clothing drive coincides with Dress for Success' annual conference. A special performance of Mamma Mia! will host members of Dress for Success on Sept. 26 as well.

The drive will take place from 5-8 PM at the Winter Garden Theatre, where FedEx volunteers and members of the Mamma Mia cast will be on hand to collect donated clothing. The items most needed are handbags, accessories, new white blouses, plus-sized suits and career blazers.

Donors will have the chance to win a Mamma Mia! package including dinner and tickets to see the international hit musical featuring the ABBA tune-stack.

Sept. 26 marks Judy McLane's return to the Broadway company of Mamma Mia! in the role of Tanya. Christopher Shyer and Ben Livingston also join the Broadway cast that day; the company also includes Carmello as Donna Sheridan, Carey Anderson as Sophie Sheridan, Gina Ferrall as Rosie, Andy Kelso as Sky and Pearce Bunting as Bill Austin.

Mamma Mia! features music and lyrics by ABBA's Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, and book by Catherine Johnson. Phyllida Lloyd directs the production with choreography by Anthony Van Laast. For further information visit www.dressforsuccess.org.
