F. Murray Abraham will star in a one-night-only benefit performance of Man & Boy May 2 at the Culture Project.

Directed by Maria Aitkin, the 7 PM performance of Terence Rattigan's play will feature Oscar winner Abraham as Antonescu. The cast will also include Craig Baldwin (Beeston), Francesca Faridany (Countess Antonescu), Enver Gjokaj (Basil), Lisa McCormick (Carol Penn) and John Heard (Mark Herris).

Man & Boy, according to production notes, "takes place on the eve of a giant merger. Gregor Antonesco, the world’s greatest financier, manipulates his estranged son, an obscure jazz composer, into unwittingly playing a part in the old man’s latest ethically questionable business venture."

F. Murray Abraham, most recently on Broadway in Triumph of Love, has also appeared on the Main Stem in A Month in the Country, Angels in America, Teibele and Her Demon, Legend, The Ritz, Bad Habits, 6 Rms Riv Vu and The Man in the Glass Booth. He won the Academy Award for his work in the film of "Amadeus."

The Acting Company, America's foremost touring repertory theatre and arts education program, was honored in 2003 with the Tony for Excellence in Theater.
