News Manhattan-Bound The Common Swallow Will Play Provincetown in September P+H Productions in association with Provincetown Counter Productions will present the world-premiere production of David Caudle's The Common Swallow in Provincetown this September.

Performances will begin Sept. 28 at Provincetown's Town Hall, and the two-week run will be directed by Susan Grilli. The cast will include Glynis Bell, Sean Maddox, Angela C. Howell and Ethan Paulini.

Tickets will go on sale in August.

In The Common Swallow, press notes state, a "big city businesswoman returns to her childhood home in America's heartland. In her attempts to solve her family's issues she discovers that you can never fully come back to the past. The disintegrating fabric of family and community root this Midwestern dramatic comedy that reminds us what is most important."

The Common Swallow will open in a commercial New York City run in 2012, according to the press statement. Details will be announced at a later time.
