Manhattan Class Company's (MCC) 2nd Annual Casino Night, which directly benefits this leading not-for-profit Off-Broadway theatre, takes place March 3 at the Pratt Museum in Manhattan.
A Baccarat Circle champagne celebration precedes the opening of gaming tables at 7:30 PM, after which attendees will be able to gamble and trade their winnings for such things as prizes, vacations, theatre tickets and celebrity lunches.
Now in its 14th season, MCC has played a pivotal role in numerous artistic careers and has staged such shows as Wit, Good As New, The Grey Zone, Nixon's Nixon, Girl Gone, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Fun and Beirut. MCC opened its season with Pulitzer Prize-winner Marsha Norman's Trudy Blue and is currently presenting Jose Rivera's Sueno.
Tickets for the creative black tie event run $175 - $500. The Pratt Museum is located at 1027 Fifth Avenue at 84th Street. For tickets call (212) 727-7765.
