The 7:30 PM concert will feature the West Coast premiere of songs from Schwartz's new opera, Séance on a Wet Afternoon, as well as tunes from the composer's many Broadway and film musicals. Currently scheduled for the one-night-only event are Terrence Mann, Tracie Thoms, Michael Arden, David Burnham, Jennifer Leigh Warren, Elizabeth Brackenbury, Barrett Foa, Audra Mae, Michael Marcotte, Katy Mixon, Nicole Parker, Hila Plitmann, Aaron Refvem, Tami Tappan Damiano, Ty Taylor and Brenna Whitaker.
Billy Porter will direct the evening with musical direction by Charity Wicks and Chris Bratten.
Stephen Schwartz penned the scores for Wicked, Godspell, Pippin and The Baker's Wife, among others.
