News Marc Salem's Mind Games Extra to Play Makor Celebrated mentalist Marc Salem, who has triumphed Off-Broadway and on with his one-man evening of psychological games, will bring his talents to Makor for a series of performances in this summer.

Beginning June 5, Salem will offer Marc Salem's Mind Games Extra at 8 PM. Other performance dates are June 12, 19 and 25 at 8 PM and July 9 at 1 PM. (The previously announced May 15 performance has been canceled. Mind Games is neither a traditional magic show nor a hypnotism act, yet seems to have elements of both. A spokesperson for the original show termed it "a cross between Penn & Teller and Ricky Jay." Salem, a former New York University professor, has degrees from NYU and the University of Pennsylvania. He was a director of research at "Sesame Street" for ten years. His "mind games" involve audience participation and the revelation of hidden answers that come to Salem — but who knows how? Salem's performance features the mentalist trying to divine personal information and the nature of randomly selected items from the audience.

Makor is located in Manhattan in the Steinhardt Building at 35 West 67th Street. There is a $25 charge for all performances. For tickets call (212) 415-5500 or visit
