Produced by Metropolitan Talent and WestBeth Entertainment, the theatrical event continues in a limited engagement through March 10.
Mind Over Manhattan includes a series of mesmerizing and mystifying mind games. According to press notes, "Using psychological techniques, a sharp eye for human nature, a quick wit and more than 20 years of studying the human mind, Salem creates an astounding, mystifying and often hilarious show. Salem uses no secret assistants, stooges, or hidden electronics in the presentation of this extraordinary evening."
"New Yorkers inspire my mind to even greater thoughts, and their humor and intelligence is top notch," said Salem in a statement. "Having performed around the globe, only in New York is the bar so high, that I need to push my mind and wit to the ultimate. Manhattan is more than just a state of mind; it is an explosion of energy and thought!"
Salem, a former New York University professor, has degrees from NYU and the University of Pennsylvania. He was a director of research at "Sesame Street" for ten years. Aside from Broadway, his Mind Games has also played the Sydney Opera House, the Edinburgh Festival and Singapore's Esplanade.
