The movie is based on the 2010 novel of the same name by Scott Turow, which takes place 20 years after the events in his 1987 novel, "Presumed Innocent."

Mariana Klaveno ("True Blood") has also joined the cast and will play a court clerk whose relationships with Rusty Sabich (Pullman) and his son surface after Sabich is charged with the murder of his wife.

Harden won the Tony Award in 2009 for her performance in God of Carnage. She was also nominated for Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and was seen in Angels in America: Perestroika.

Pullman has appeared on Broadway in The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? and Oleanna. He will also be seen in the world-premiere production of The Jacksonian, a new play by Beth Henley, set to open Feb. 8, 2012, at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse.
