The songwriters will be joined by a host of special guests to be announced shortly. The Marcy and Zina Show will play Opia Sept. 27 and 28; show time is 9 PM. The following month, on Oct. 24 and 25, the talented writers will head to the Cinegrill; show time is 8 PM. Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich were honored with the ASCAP Foundation Richard Rodgers New Horizons Theatre Award. They are also the recipients of several Bistro and MAC Awards, and their tunes have been embraced by Wicked's Kristin Chenoweth (she performed their song "Taylor, the Latte Boy" on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show), Jekyll & Hyde's Christiane Noll (she recorded "Taylor" on her solo disc), Avenue Q's Ann Harada and John Tartaglia, Saturday Night Fever's Paige Price and Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen. Their work is now available for all, courtesy of a new 318-page tome — "Goldrich and Heisler: Songbook Volume 1" — that features 32 of their songs.
