Leading the cast are Marian Seldes as Orinthia and Brian Murray as Magnus, a king of England who is being pressured by his cabinet to abdicate the throne. Seldes and Murray have proved themselves a popular acting duo in recent years due to appearances in Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby and Counting the Ways. Also in the cast are Barrett Foa (Semphronius), Donald Corren (Pamphilius), George S. Irving (Boanerges), Liz Morton (Alice), Peter Bartlett (Proteus), Howard Kissel (Pliny), Simon Jones (Nicobar), David Garrison (Balbus), Charlotte Moore (Amanda), Becky Ann Baker (Lysistrata), Charlotte Rae (The Queen), Jack Gilpin (Vanhattan) and David Cote (Narrator). Robert Simonson, editor of Playbill.com, will introduce the play.

The series is being produced and directed by David Staller, who last year acted with Dana Ivey in Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession at the Irish Repertory Theatre. Dates stretching throughout 2006 and beyond will provide an airing of every sketch, full-length and one-act play by the playwright.

Past participants include Rebecca Luker, Michele Pawk, Jack Gilpin, George S. Irving and Nancy Anderson.

All casting is subject to change. All readings are on Monday at 7 PM, except where otherwise indicated. A current schedule, subject to change, runs as follows:

Sept. 18: The Apple Cart
Oct. 23: Misalliance
Nov. 20: Captain Brassbound's Conversion
