On Nov. 24, Mazzie will appear in an episode of "Still Standing" that is titled "Still Believing." According to the CBS website, the episode is described thusly: "Bill and Judy feel they need more faith in their lives after meeting the very religious parents of Lauren’s boyfriend." Mark Addy and Jami Gertz play, respectively, Bill and Judy in the comedy about a blue-collar Chicago couple. The Nov. 24 episode will also feature a guest appearance by Kevin Nealon of "Saturday Night Live" fame. "Still Standing" airs Mondays on CBS at 8:30 PM/ET; check local listings. The production is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television in association with CBS Productions. Diane Burroughs and Joey Gutierrez are the program's executive producers.
A three-time Tony Award nominee for her performances in Kiss Me, Kate; Ragtime; and Passion, Marin Mazzie's other theatrical credits include Into the Woods, Big River, The World Goes 'Round, the City Center Encores! production of Out of this World and Off Broadway's The Trojan Women: A love Story, where she met husband Jason Danieley. Mazzie also starred in the London production of Kiss Me, Kate, where she earned an Olivier Award nomination for her work.
