The Riot Group presentation will play a limited engagement at the downtown Manhattan venue through Nov. 28.

In Pugilist Specialist, four American marines are assigned the task of eliminating a troublesome Middle Eastern leader in a story that unfolds through a series of field recordings.  

The work premiered at the Edinbugrh Fringe Festival, then went on to a London run and 6-month UK tour. The work previously played Sept. 14-Oct. 10 at New York City's 59E59 Theaters.

The cast of Pugilist Specialist include Drew Friedman, Paul Schabel, Adriano Shaplin and Stephanie Viola — who comprise the company, The Riot Group.  They are produced worldwide by Louise Chantal at Chantal Arts + Theatre.

The production will next play in San Francisco, launching a national tour.  Adriano Shaplin's trio of plays — Wreck the Airline Barrier, Victory at the Dirt Palace and Pugilist Specialist — which played at the Edinburgh Fringe will be published by London-based Oberon Books.
