She's done Falling in Love Again. Sian Phillips, star of Broadway's Marlene, completes her New York cabaret debut June 23. Phillips has sung three days a week at the famed Firebird Cafe since June 7. Phillips, who just received a CBE from the Queen, was a Tony and Olivier Award nominee for Marlene, the Pam Gems bioplay whose musical requirements were such that Phillips was nominated for Best Actress in a Musical. Phillips also appeared on Broadway as Mrs. Birling in An Inspector Calls. Among her numerous English credits are A Little Night Music (Olivier nomination) , A Lion in Winter , Man and Superman and Night of the Iguana.
