Previews: November 23, 2005

Opening: December 11, 2005

Venue: The Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, 236 West 45th Street, New York, NY.

This unique new show features legendary performer Chita Rivera (West Side Story, Bye Bye Birdie, Chicago, The Rink) and a cast of 10, and aims to, according to producers, "offer a rare look into that moment when great musical numbers [are born], as related by the woman for whom they were created." In addition to presenting most of her signature numbers, Rivera will perform a series of new songs written for the show by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Dessa Rose).
