Laura Linney returns to the stage in a dark comedy that reveals the decadence and cynicism of the aristocracy prior to the French Revolution. An adaptation of the classic novel involving sexual intrigue, manipulation, and philandering in the salons and boudoirs of 18th century France. For long-time friends and occasional lovers Vicomte de Valmont (Daniels) and Marquise de Merteuil (Linney), love is simply a game of chess. But in a few false moves, they're about to find themselves locked in the ultimate checkmate.
