Antony Sher stars as Primo Levi, a survivor of Auschwitz, who describes the inhumanity of the Holocaust in a camp where people have everything taken away from them. The play was a hit last fall at the National Theatre of Britain’s Cottesloe Theatre, subsequently playing Cape Town, South Africa, before returning to London at the Hampstead Theatre. Anthony Sher made his Broadway debut in 1997 in Stanley and has won Olivier Awards for Torch Song Trilogy and Stanley.
