Previously seen Off-Broadway and in other markets, Shout! will play Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, IL, June 15-Aug. 14. Opening night is June 24.

Originally created by Phillip George, David Lowenstein and Peter Charles Morris, the show features the classic songs "To Sir With Love," "Downtown," "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me," "Son of a Preacher Man" and more, from a diverse group of songwriters including Tony Hatch, Carole King and Bernie Goffin, Burt Bacharach and Hal David.

With the permission of the original producers, the Marriott Theatre artistic team — multi-Jeff Award-winning director and choreographer Rachel Rockwell, music director Dr. Ryan Nelson and the Marriott Theatre's lead artistic director Andy Hite — has "completely re-imagined" the show. Expect "brand new arrangements and orchestrations" and "the addition of eight show-stopping dancers."

According to Marriott, Shout! "chronicles the dawning liberation of women at a time when women all around the world were redefining themselves in the face of changing attitudes about gender and relationships. Shout! tells their story through the unforgettable music of the time, featuring the infectious and soulful pop anthems that made household names of Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Cilla Black and Lulu."

The company includes singers Carey Anderson (Sophie in Mamma Mia!, Kate/Lucy in Avenue Q on Broadway and national tours), Tammy Mader (multiple Jeff Award winner), Jessie Mueller (Jeff Award), Brooke Jacob and Raena White, and dancers Lauren Nicole Blane, Giovanni Bonaventura, Jaclyn Burch, Craig Kaufman, Jarret Ditch, Trisha Kelly, Sam Rogers and Melissa Zaremba. The creative team includes set designer Tom Ryan, costume designer Nancy Missimi, lighting designer Diane Williams and sound designer Bob Gilmartin. Patti Garwood conducts the Marriott Theatre Orchestra.
