News Marsha Mason Pulls Out of Beckett's Happy Days in CA Marsha Mason has withdrawn from California Shakespeare Theater's already-in-rehearsal production Samuel Beckett's Happy Days, directed by Jonathan Moscone, "because of personal reasons," the company announced July 29. A replacement will be named shortly.

"I am very sad that Marsha had to leave the show," stated Jonathan Moscone. "Both of us very much look forward to working together on another project in the future." Happy Days begins previews Aug. 12, opens Aug. 15, and runs through Sept. 6 in Orinda, CA.
