News Marti Pellow to Join West End Company of Blood Brothers Singer-songwriter Marti Pellow, formerly the lead singer of Wet Wet Wet, one of the most successful bands in British pop history, will join the West End company of Blood Brothers, now running at the Phoenix Theatre, beginning performances Nov. 1.

He will play the role of the Narrator. Pellow comes to the show fresh from playing the title role in Frank Wildhorn's musical Jekyll and Hyde on a UK tour. He has previously been seen in the West End, on Broadway and on a UK tour as Billy Flynn in Chicago, and has also toured in The Witches of Eastwick. He co-starred with Josh Groban and Idina Menzel in the TV and film special Chess, recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall. During his time with Wet Wet Wet, the group had over 25 chart hits and three of the UK's biggest number one singles, including "Love is All Around." His latest solo album, "Love to Love" – recorded and released on his own label – has become one of the biggest-selling independent records of 2011.
