The Village Theatre, a theatre company based in Issaquah, WA, will put up the show in two places — The Francis J. Gaudette Theatre in Issaquah, WA, from Jan. 17-Feb. 25, 2007, and the Everett Performing Arts Center in and Everett, WA from March 2-18. Charnin began his theatrical career originating the role of Big Deal in West Side Story. He wrote the lyrics to such Broadway shows as Two By Two, The First, Hot Spot and I Remember Mama, and his directing credits include Nash at Nine, Café Crown, Sid Caesar & Company, The Flowering Peach, The First, A Little Family Business and the 1997 revival of Annie. He won an Emmy as producer of the 1970 television movie "Annie, the Women in the Life of a Man."

Among the cast of Shadowlands is Dan Kremer and Shelly Burch. It has scenic design by Matthew Smucker, lighting design by Tom Sturge and costume design by Deborah Skorstad.
