Martin Guerre, the new musical produced by Cameron Mackintosh and written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg (creators of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon), has launched its own official website. Hosted by Pegasus Internet, the site can be reached over the Internet at www.martin-guerre.com. Martin Guerre opens at the Ahmanson Theatre Feb 23, 2000, and runs through April 8, 2000. The show's website is one of producer Mackintosh's five sites, along with www.lesmis.com; www.miss-saigon.com; www.the phantomoftheopera.com and www.puttingittogether.com, which together represent the largest and most comprehensive websites for theatrical productions currently on the Internet. www.martin-guerre.com will provide Martin Guerre's fans and potential ticket buyers with information on the show as well as access to purchasing tickets.

Currently making a five-city pre-Broadway tour that opened to critical acclaim at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, Martin Guerre will have its Broadway premiere on April 26, 2000, at a theatre to be announced.
