A reading of Robert Westfield's A Wedding Album, directed by Nicholas Martin (Bosoms and Neglect, Betty's Summer Vacation) will be part of the New Play Reading series at The Williamstown Theatre Festival, on June 26.
In the play, Emmit and Lee Avery are two professional New York party crashers, who thrill in creating wild false identities for each new event. But when they decide to invite themselves to a wedding, they soon find themselves tangled in a web of lies in which nothing is as it appears.
The cast includes: Wynne Anders, Greg Baglia, Joel Forsythe, Clay Hopper, Laura Houck, Colleen Quinlan, Trish Santini, Geoffrey Simmons Jr., and Virginia Louise Smith.
Martin is also directing Ethan Hawke and Blair Brown (Cabaret) in Camino Real, the Tennessee Williams' seldom staged classic, for The WTF this summer. Real is just part of the star-studded summer season, which also includes Oscar-winner, Gwyneth Paltrow in Shakespeare's As You Like It, Roger Rees in Taming of the Shrew, James Naughton directing Arthur Miller's The Price, and the premieres of new plays -- Kenneth (This Is Our Youth) Lonergan's The Waverly Gallery, John (House of Blue Leaves) Guare 's Chaucer in Love and Warren (Side Man) Leight 's The Glimmer Brothers.
