News Martin Moran Solo The Tricky Part Closes Off-Broadway, May 30; July Run in Denver Playwright-star Martin Moran ends the scheduled run of his play The Tricky Part Off-Broadway at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, May 30.

Seth Barrish directed the work which began previews March 28 and opened April 12.

The Tricky Part humorously and candidly delves into the life of its star and his personal journey. The work deals with the consequences of a 12-year-old altar boy's introduction to sex.

The work was developed at Utah's Sundance Institute Theatre Lab, Connecticut's Long Wharf Theatre and New Jersey's McCarter Theatre. The initial workshop took place at The Barrow Group.

Jim Freydberg, one of the producers, confirmed that the work will play at the Curious Theatre Company in Denver, CO (where the play takes place) for four weeks beginning July 15. There is also the possibility that the show may go to Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Martin has appeared on Broadway in the revival of Bells Are Ringing, Cabaret, Titanic, How to Succeed In Business..., Big River and Oliver! Other credits include A Man of No Importance, The Cider House Rules, Doonesbury, Floyd Collins and The Making of Americans. The Tricky Part performs at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, located at 2162 Broadway (at 76th Street).
