Off-Broadway News Martyna Majok’s queens Will Now Begin February 14 LCT3 production will still run through March 25 in the Claire Tow Theater at Lincoln Center Theater.

The LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater production of queens, the newest work by Ironbound and Cost of Living playwright Martyna Majok, will now begin previews February 14 instead of the previously announced February 10 due to logistical reasons. Set in a basement apartment, queens tells the stories of two generations of immigrant women.

The Off-Broadway production, directed by Danya Taymor, will now open March 5 instead of February 26. Performances are still scheduled through March 25 in the Claire Tow Theater at Lincoln Center.

The cast of queens is made up of Jessica Love, Nadine Malouf, Ana Reeder, Andrea Syglowski, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Sarah Tolan-Mee, and Nicole Villamil.

Majok returns Off-Broadway following an acclaimed run of her play Cost of Living earlier this year. Her play queens will explore the choices made by immigrant women regarding their security, dignity, and desires.

Queens will feature sets by Laura Jellinek, costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Matt Frey, and sound by Stowe Nelson.
