Mendez joins a cast that currently includes Kirsten Bracken as Suzy, Christina DeCicco as Cindy Lou and Misty Cotton as Missy. Mendez, who was recently seen in Everyday Rapture at Second Stage Theatre, played the role of Jan in the recent Broadway revival of Grease.

Songs included in the new show are "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Stupid Cupid," "Lipstick on Your Collar," "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me," "It's My Party" and "It's in His Kiss."
