Richard III, William Shakespeare's tale of the power-hungry hunchback king, will inaugurate MA's Shakespeare & Company's new space, The Duffin Theatre, July 8 - Aug. 1. One of the most famous studies of evil in the English language, Richard III tells of the Yorkists having finally seized power from the Lancastrians -- but Richard has his own plan to get the throne, leaving many dead on his way.
The Duffin Theatre is the latest of Shakespeare & Company's five theatres. Shakespeare & Company artistic director, Tina Packer will direct.
