News Matt Doyle, Jennifer Cody, Sheffield Chastain and More Set for Readings of Ron Pallilo's The Lost Boy Industry readings of Ron Pallilo's The Lost Boy will be presented Sept. 15 at 6:30 PM and Sept. 16 at 12:30 PM at the Manhattan Theatre Club Studios on West 43rd St.

Drama Desk nominee Tony Speciale will direct a cast that includes Matt Doyle (Book of Mormon), Jennifer Cody (Shrek), Sheffield Chastain (Is He Dead?) and Roberta Maxwell (Brokeback Mountain). Additional casting will be announced.

Producers are Lawrence Leritz and Dominic Paolillo.

The Lost Boy, according to press notes, tells the "compelling story of a well-known author, who in the shadow of his own international writing success, confronts his haunted past, his brother's untimely death, a family that has scorned him, and his own dissatisfaction with the illusions of fame and fortune."

The play premiered Oct. 28, 2005, at the Helen Hayes Theater Company in Nyack, NY.

Late playwright Pallilo is best known for his work on the hit TV series "Welcome Back Kotter."
