News Matthew Broderick and Alice Eve Set for Neil LaBute's "Dirty Weekend" Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick has signed on to star in the new Neil LaBute film "Dirty Weekend," according to Variety.

Broderick (The Producers, Nice Work If You Can Get It) will co-star with Alice Eve (Rock n Roll) in the film that is currently being shot in New Mexico.

Duncan Montgomery, Tiller Russell and Joey Stewart are producing the motion picture about a businessman (Broderick) who ends up in a city where, a year before, he had an unexpected drunken encounter that has haunted him ever since. With the aid of a co-worker (Eve), he attempts to figure out the details of the night.

LaBute will also direct. 

LaBute's plays include Reasons to Be Pretty, Reasons to Be Happy, The Shape of Things, The Break of Noon, Fat Pig and The Mercy Seat, among others.
