PlayBlog Matthew Morrison Explains the Meaning Behind "Summer Rain" (Video) Tony Award nominee and "Glee" Matthew Morrison, who recently made a solo appearance at New York City's Beacon Theater, sat down with Blink 182's Mark Hoppus.

Morrison talked with Hoppus about "Summer Rain," a single off of his solo album and a song that he recently performed while he was in town Aug. 1. He explains the meaning and inspiration behind the song, complete with a story about an ex-girlfriend on his New York City rooftop.

Morrison will soon make his way to Canada to wrap up the NKOTBSB concert tour before he is back to the hallways of McKinley High School as Mr. Will Schuester, when "Glee" kicks off Sept. 21.
