Actor Reed Birney, playwright David West Read and the Roundabout's literary manager Jill Rafson, general manager Rachel Ayers, and artistic consultant Robyn Goodman discuss Read's new play, The Dream of the Burning Boy, which examines the effects of the death of a popular high school student.

Tony Award-winning composer-lyricist Maury Yeston, Tony-winning director Doug Hughes and the Roundabout's artistic director Todd Haimes, managing director Harold Wolpert, and Rafson preview Yeston's new musical Death Takes a Holiday, based on the Alberto Casella play that sends Death to an Italian family's villa to learn about life and love.

The Dream of the Burning Boy will begin performances Feb. 25 at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, as part of the Roundabout Underground Series. Death Takes a Holiday will start performances June 10 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Steinberg Center.
