News MazelTov Cocktail..., with Fox, Opens Off-Broadway Feb. 3 Jamie M. Fox's one-woman show MazelTov Cocktail … an explosive family comedy officially opens Off-Broadway Feb. 3 at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre.

Maria Mileaf (A Body of Water) directs the engagement that began performances Jan. 26 and will run through Feb. 20.

According to press notes, "MazelTov Cocktail follows a Jewish woman as she juggles her job as a personal assistant, her cocaine addicted (and recently jailed) brother and the neurotic parents who spawned them."

The production has scenic design by Sandra Goldmark, costume design by Laurie Churba, lighting design by David Lander and sound design by Nick Borisjuk.

MazelTov Cocktail made its West Coast premiere at the Coast Playhouse where it played a sold-out run. Fox has since toured the work across the country.

Fox has appeared in the films "Employee of the Month," "Page Turner," "Out of Focus," "Virgin Wanted" and "Memory Thief." Her stage credits include Julius Caesar, Burn This and Poor Super Man.
