News McCarthy and Meloni to Moderate Post-Show Discussions with Reasons Playwright LaBute As previously announced, playwright Neil LaBute will take part in discussions following the May 9 (at 8 PM) and May 10 (at 3 PM) performances of his Tony-nominated Broadway play Reasons to Be Pretty.

Those discussions will be moderated by Andrew McCarthy (May 9) and Christopher Meloni (May 10). LaBute will also be available in the theatre lobby following the discussion to autograph copies of his works.

The post-show conversations are offered free of charge to anyone purchasing a ticket to that performance.

LaBute will also join the play's director, Terry Kinney, for a May 9 event at Borders in the Time Warner Center. The 5 PM appearance will include a performance from the Tony-nominated play, a question-and-answer session with the author and director, and a book signing. The Time Warner Center is located in Manhattan at 10 Columbus Circle; visit www.borders.com for more information.

Marin Ireland, Steven Pasquale, Piper Perabo and Thomas Sadoski comprise the four-person cast. The play, according to the producers, "confronts America's obsession with physical beauty headlong. In Neil LaBute's new play, Greg's (Sadoski) tight-knit social circle is thrown into turmoil when his off-handed remarks about a female co-worker's pretty face (and his girlfriend's lack thereof) get back to said girlfriend (Ireland). But that's just the beginning."

The Lyceum Theatre is located in Manhattan at 149 West 45th Street. Tickets are available by visiting www.telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200.
