McDonald will be joined by fellow Tony winners Loretta Devine and Sara Ramirez, as well as Broadway's T.R. Knight, Chandra Wilson and Taye Diggs, who will appear in the latest benefit to assist those still feeling the repercussions of the 100-day writers strike.
Also taking part will be the casts of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice," including Paul Adelstein, Amy Brenneman, Tim Daly, Chris Lowell, James Pickens, Gina Taylor-Pickens, Justin Chambers, Eric Dane, Katherine Heigl, Chyler Leigh, Sandra Oh, Ellen Pompeo, Brooke Smith, Kadee Strickland, Shonda Rhimes and Kate Walsh.
