News McDonald Plus Young Frankenstein and Cyrano Stars Teach for Moveable Arts Winter Retreat Audra McDonald, Jarrod Emick and stars of Broadway's Young Frankenstein and Cyrano are scheduled to participate in Moveable Arts' upcoming Winter Retreat.

The three-day theatre intensive (Dec. 27-29), titled "Minding Your Show Business," will take place at The Times Square Arts Center.

"Moveable Arts Retreats provide the opportunity for up to 30 individual students between the ages of 17 and 22 to experience an incredible few days with an extended number of our professional collective," reads an announcement. "They are intense educational and networking workshops for those who want to explore a career in 'the business.'"

The tentative schedule will include a session on "the business of stage and screen" with Audra McDonald (110 in the Shade, "Private Practice"), a dance class with Young Frankenstein's Jennifer Lee Crowl followed by an "At the Theatre" backstage etiquette session with her co-star Jessica Dermody. Other portions of the event feature "Yoga for the Actor" with Jeslyn Kelly (Fuerza Bruta), "The Casting Director" with Merri Sugarman (of Tara Rubin Casting) and a "Cyrano Workshop" with Daniel Sherman, who co-stars in the current Broadway revival.

Previous instructors have included Sutton Foster, Patrick Wilson, Anne L. Nathan, Paul Schoeffler, Christian Borle, Erin Dilly, Brad Oscar and Barbara Walsh.
