The terraNOVA Collective begins its residence at Off-Broadway's DR2 Oct. 18 with Kate McGovern's Blue Before Morning.

Gia Forakis directs the production, which officially opens Oct. 19 and continues through Nov. 8. The cast includes Kether Donohue, Phyllis Johnson, Jenny Maguire, Chris McKinney, Flaco Navaja and Jennifer Dorr White.

"At dawn, a New York cabbie picks up a teenage girl headed for the bus station," according to Blue Before Morning press notes. "Before long, they're driving to South Carolina, accompanied by a very pregnant, foul-mouthed hitchhiker. The three strangers hit I-95 and find themselves on a journey of unusual coincidences and second chances that straddle past and present while leading them toward an unlikely future."

Designing the DR2 staging are Derek McLane (set design), Katie Down (music and sound design), Bruce Steinberg (lighting design), S. Katy Tucker (video and projection design), Suzanne Chesney (costume design).

Blue Before Morning was developed thru terraNOVA's Groundbreakers workshop.

With Blue Before Morning, terraNova joins The Women's Expressive Theatre as the second theatre company currently in residence at the DR2. Tickets are available by phoning (212) 239-6200 or by visiting Telecharge.

The DR2 is located at 103 East 15 Street, east of Union Square in Manhattan.
