News McIntyre Will Host Theatre Industry Sunday Sanctuary Series for BC/EFA Broadway actor Gerry McIntyre, who is currently appearing Off-Broadway in the York Theatre Company's Enter Laughing, will host a series of parties to raise funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The Theatre Industry Sunday Sanctuary Series will be presented Sundays, Sept. 28-Nov. 9 at the Chelsea Grill, beginning at 8 PM. Funds will be raised for BC/EFA through the sale of raffle tickets for a wide array of prizes.

Raffle tickets, priced $20 (or three for $50), are currently available for purchase at the bar of the restaurant located in Hell's Kitchen. The first advance raffle drawing will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 beginning at 10 PM.

The first raffle prize is a one-week stay at the Grand Mayan Palace Acapulco. The Grand Suite, which can host four adults and two children, features a full kitchen, ocean-front view, a spa and a waterpark.

Chelsea Grill is located at 675 Ninth Avenue in Manhattan.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's largest industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. Since its founding in 1988 the organization has distributed over $130 million for services for people with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses.
