News   Mead's Additional "How to Succeed" Titles in Film Development
The works of late writer Shepherd Mead, whose book "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" was turned into a Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical, are being prepped for film.

Variety reports that producers Grant Turck (who manages the Mead estate), Alan Gasmer and Peter Jaysen are exploring feature films based on the titles "How to Succeed With Women Without Really Trying," "How to Get Rich in TV Without Really Trying" and "How to Live Like a Lord Without Really Trying."

The producers are currently meeting with writers to develop the titles.

Mead's "How to Succeed in Business," which is written as a satirical self-help manual, was adapted by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert into the hit Broadway musical scored by Frank Loesser.

How to Succeed is back on Broadway with "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe. The 50th anniversary revival opened March 27 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
