News Mee's Trojan Women 2.0 to Make Las Vegas Premiere Jan. 15 The Atlas Theatre Ensemble will present the Las Vegas premiere of Charles L. Mee's Trojan Women 2.0 beginning Jan. 15.

Atlas artistic director Chris Mayse will direct the Off-Strip production that runs through Jan. 13 at the Onyx Theatre.

The cast comprises Maythinee Washington, Jamie Carvelli, Jamie Jones, Sara Fontaine, Natascha Negro, Michael Drake, Pablo Coura, Jack Dunagan, Lori Kay, Marissa Townsend, Mary Foresta, Jennifer King, Justy Hutchins, Scott Autrey and Scott Autrey.

"Set against the background of a modern-day Troy, the women survivors of the holocaust try to piece their existence back together, and to find strength and hope among the ruins of their once mighty civilization," according to press notes.

The Las Vegas production will have designs by director Chris Mayse (scenic and lighting), as well as sound design by Stephen Driggs. Becca Hollis provides choreography.

Obie winner Charles L. Mee, known for his ability to create dramatic textual collages, is the author of Iphigenia 2.0, Queens Boulevard (the musical), Paradise Park, Fire Island, Big Love, True Love, First Love, bobrauschenbergamerica, Hotel Cassiopeia and Orestes 2.0. Mee is a frequent collaborator with choreographer and director Martha Clarke with whom he penned Belle Epoque and Vienna: Lusthaus.
