PlayBlog Meet Lysistrata Jones' Leading Lady, Patti Murin (Video) Patti Murin will play the title role in Lysistrata Jones, the new Off-Broadway musical that puts an Ancient Greek classic on a basketball court — literally. The New York premiere of Douglas Carter Beane and Lewis Flinn's show is set to begin performances May 15 in the Judson Memorial Church Gymnasium in Greenwich Village.

"The Athens University basketball team hasn't won a game in 30 years. The cast of Lysistrata Jones also includes Alexander Aguilar (Uardo), Katie Boren (Lampito Kanagawa), Lindsay Chambers (Robin/Shelley), Max Kumangai (Tyllus), Liz Mikel (Heterai), Kat Nejat (Cleonice), Josh Segarra (Mick), LaQuet Sharnell (Mhyrinne), Jason Tam (Xander), Teddy Toye (Harold) and Alex Wyse (Cinesius).
