The Band’s Visit, David Yazbek and Itamar Moses’ heartfelt tale of life and love in a small Israeli town, will begin previews October 7 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Tickets are available at Telecharge.com prior to the box office officially opening September 4.
The show stars Indecent alum Katrina Lenk, Tony nominees Tony Shalhoub and John Cariani, Ari'el Stachel, Rent and Fiddler on the Roof star Adam Kantor, An American in Paris’ Etai Benson George Abud, Andrew Polk, Bill Army, Rachel Prather, Jonathan Raviv, Sharone Sayegh, Kristen Sieh, and Alok Tewari.

Based on the screenplay by Eran Kolirin, The Band’s Visit follows the story of an Egyptian police band, who, after a mixup at the border, find themselves in a remote village in the middle of the Israeli desert. With no bus or hotel in sight, the band members are led into unlikely friendships with some of the locals, causing their lives to intertwine in unexpected and spectacular ways.
