The second in a series devoted to classic Broadway singing, Two Legit to Quit: a Riff-Free Evening will begin at 7 PM and will explore legit-style musicals from 1960-present.

Performers include Bussert, Rideout, Morse, Nicole Dalto, Melanie Field (Evita, The Phantom of the Opera), Carrie A. Johnson (Sister Act), Paul Louis Lessard, Vince Oddo (American Idiot national tour), Katerina Papacostas and Ryan Speakman (Broadway concerts of Oliver! and Camelot).

According to press notes, "In the rubble of the Golden Age of Broadway, a few musicals rose from the ashes and survived the Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Superstar). For one night only, we will explore the music from 1960-present that gives the ever endangered legit singer a home in a world of witches and underaged triple-threats."

Two Legit to Quit: a Riff-Free Evening, with musical direction by Caleb Hoyer, will feature the music of Leslie Bricusse, Kander and Ebb, Ahrens and Flaherty, Andre Previn, Maury Yeston and more.

The Laurie Beechman Theater is located in the basement of the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street. There is a $15 cover and a $15 food/drink minimum. For reservations, call (212) 695-6909.
