News Megan Condit's And a Wake-Up Premieres at Fringe Fest Aug. 15 Megan Condit's And a Wake-Up, a dark comedy about a solder's homecoming, premieres Aug. 15 at 4:15 PM as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.

The play will be performed at The New School for Drama and Theatre. Bruce Faulk directs a cast featuring Alexandria Wailes, Kyle Knauf, Jacob Hoffman, Lee Roy Rogers, Lawrence Arancio and Parker Dixon.

"In the play, a soldier and his fiancée try to piece their lives back together after he returns from battle under the most mysterious of circumstances," according to press notes. "Sometimes the most brutal battlefield is the one you come home to."

Condit's other playwriting credits include Mag Mor, The Interview, For Entertainment Purposes Only and Totality. She holds an M.F.A. in playwriting from Columbia University and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
