Broadway actor-singer Megan Hilty will be guest soloist at New York Pops holiday concert The Most Wonderful Time of the Year at Carnegie Hall in New York City for two performances, December 15 and 16 at 8 PM.
Hilty made her Broadway debut in the 2009 Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5, playing the role originated by Parton on film. Hilty earned national attention by co-starring in the TV series Smash. She was nominated for a Tony Award as Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play in 2016 for her performance in the revival of Noises Off. She also has performed her cabaret show at New York’s Café Carlyle.
Steven Reineke will conduct the 8 PM Pops concerts, which will also feature Essential Voices USA in the orchestra’s annual program of “holiday classics and festive surprises.”
