News Memorial for Actress Shirl Bernheim Held in Manhattan May 3 A memorial for theatre and film actress Shirl Bernheim, who passed away March 30 at age 87, will be held May 3 in Manhattan.

Bernheim will be remembered by family and friends at 6:30 PM at the Manhattan Theatre Club's studio, which is located at 311 West 43rd Street, 8th floor. On Broadway Shirl Bernheim was seen in The Tale of the Allergist's Wife and Grease. Her other theatrical credits include Old Lady's Guide to Survival, Cyrano de Bergerac, Over the River and Through the Woods, Steel Magnolias, Social Security, George Washington Slept Here and The Man Who Came to Dinner. Ms. Bernheim was seen on screen in "Anna," "I'm Not Rappaport," "Commandments," "Broadway Damage," "Guiding Light," "Law & Order" and "The Sopranos."
