A memorial service for long time New York stage manager Trey Hunt, who died on April 25 after a long battle with AIDS, will be held at 2 PM June 12 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Palm Springs, California.

Mr. Hunt was a Broadway and Off-Broadway stage manager for 14 years. Among the productions he worked on were March of the Falsettos, La Cage Aux Folles, Starlight Express, Aspects of Love, Beyond Therapy, The Day Room, Nunsense, and revivals of After The Fall (with Dianne Wiest and Frank Langella) and Sweeney Todd. He was born in Odessa, Texas, in 1956 and raised in suburban Dallas. He attended Middlebury College in Vermont, where he received a B.A. In Theatre. He then began his stage career at the National Playwrights Festival at the Eugene O’Neill Theater in Connecticut.

Mr. Hunt is survived by his companion, Will Meister of Palm Springs; his mother Dr. Jackie Hunt and sister Lora Hunt, both of Mason, Texas; and his brother, Dane Hunt of Lewisville, Texas.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Trey’s memory to the New York City Gay & Lesbian Community Services Center.
