Michael Williams, who died earlier this year, will be commemorated at a memorial service at Corpus Christi church in Maiden Lane, Covent Gaden on 28th November.
Williams, who was married to Dame Judi Dench, and starred with her in the television sitcom A Fine Romance, was a Roman Catholic and awarded a papal order of knighthood, for charitable work, shortly before he died.
The memorial service at the Catholic church in Covent Garden follows one at the Anglican church, St.Paul's Covent Garden, in July, and it is believed that the eulogy will be given by Russ Abbott, currently appearing in the nearby Vaudeville Theatre, whose stage door is a few yards from Corpus Christi church.
