The 12-2 PM lunchtime event will offer members of the public a Memphis-style BBQ meal provided by he Great Atlantic Pacific & Tea Company (A&P), which is among the companies uniting to raise money for the New York-area Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Members of the public are asked to make a small donation to enjoy the BBQ lunch and a special performance by the cast of Memphis. Attendees will also have the chance to win a pair of tickets to the hit musical.
In addition to the June 3 benefit event, customers at A&P, Pathmark, Food Emporium, Waldbaum’s, Food Basics, Super Fresh and Best Cellars will receive a discount ticket offer to Memphis when they make a donation to the CMN hospitals during their purchases beginning July 4.
