"We are so grateful that the cast of Memphis is showing their support for equality again this summer at Joe's Pub," Broadway Impact co-founder and two-time Tony nominee Gavin Creel said in a statement. "Last fall, they blew our community away by raising the full amount to sponsor a bus, so that Broadway Impact could send marchers to the National Equality March in DC and, they did all this while in previews for their now Tony award winning show. That kind of dedication and generosity is what this movement is all about."
The first installment of the concert series took place June 23 and featured the cast of Next to Normal. The second installment, scheduled for July 25, will feature the cast of American Idiot.
