News Menzel Adds Tour Stops in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, whose new solo recording is titled "I Stand," has announced three additional concert dates for her March tour.

According to the actress' official website, Menzel will now also play Alexandria, VA; Glenside/Philadelphia, PA; and Wilmington, DE. Menzel's current tour itinerary follows:
March 18, 2009 at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH
March 19 at Syracuse University's Goldstein Auditorium in Syracuse, NY
March 21 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ
March 22 at the Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown, NY
March 24 at the Birchmere Music Hall in Alexandria, VA
March 25 at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside/Philadelphia, PA
March 27 at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, DE
March 28 at the Tilles Center Concert Hall in Greenvale, NY

Menzel won a Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Elphaba in Wicked; she also opened the London production of that hit musical. Menzel created the role of Maureen in the original Broadway company of Rent, and her other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Hair, Manhattan Theatre Club's The Wild Party, the Public Theater's See What I Wanna See and the benefit Funny Girl concert. Menzel's film credits include "Ask the Dust," "Rent" and "Enchanted."
