The works are expected to run in repertory in the coming season in New York. Merchant will later be presented in Stratford-upon-Avon. Dates and details are forthcoming.

Abraham earned an Academy Award for his turn in the movie version of Peter Shaffer's "Amadeus" as composer Antonio Salieri. He most recently appeared in the Off-Broadway run of Trumbo, the Madison Square Garden A Christmas Carol and Encores! presentation of New Moon. His other stage credits include Triumph of Love, A Month in the Country, Angels in America, King Lear and The Fantasticks.

Theatre for a New Audience will kick off its new "Love Is a Problem" season co-presenting the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre of London's production of Measure For Measure with St. Ann's Warehouse at the latter company's space in Brooklyn (Dec. 20-Jan. 1, 2006). The new year will continue at The Duke on 42nd Street with Darko Tresnjak directing All's Well That Ends Well (Feb. 14-Mar. 19, 2006) and Evan Yionoulis staging Howard Brenton's Sore Throats (Apr. 22-May 21, 2006).
